Junaid Safdar’s Wedding to Shanzeh Ali Rohale Draws Attention

Junaid Safdar son of CM Maryam Nawaz, weds with senior politician Sheikh Rohail Asghar daughter Shanzeh Ali Rohale.

Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif a former PM of Pakistan, has four children, two daughter and two sons, only Maryam Nawaz indulging her interest in the politics, so currently she serving herself as Chief Minister Punjab. Finally, Junaid Safdar and Shanzeh Ali Rohale took place on Saturday with a grand nikah ceremony.

The groom was dressed in an ivory sherwani with a gold-toned turban, beaming throughout the ceremony, while the bride dazzled in a traditional pink ensemble, beautifully accented with elegant jewelry. While the bride shines bright on her Baraat, capturing hearts with her elegance. Her outfit by renowned Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani perfectly blends tradition with modern glamour. She wore a beautifully embroidered red ensemble adorned with delicate floral detailing, paired with a gracefully draped dupatta and classic bridal jewellery.

The nikah was officiated by the Sajjada Nashin of the shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, while the bride’s consent was conveyed by CII Chairman Mufti Raghib Hussain Naeemi.

The high-profile ceremony attracted significant attention from political figures and the media, underscoring the Sharif family’s enduring influence in Pakistan’s social and political spheres. Extensive security and logistical arrangements were reportedly put in place to ensure the event proceeded smoothly.

The Valima ceremony is set to take place on Sunday at Jati Umra Farms, with approximately 800 guests expected. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with federal and provincial ministers, senior political leaders, and foreign dignitaries, are anticipated to attend the reception.

On Friday evening, the couple hosted their Mehendi ceremony, attended by Maryam’s close family members and guests. The groom was dressed in a deep navy-blue traditional kurta with golden buttons, complemented by a golden-brown shawl draped over his shoulder.
