Dhruv Rathee, a well-known Indian YouTuber, social media activist, and political commentator based in Berlin, Germany, has once again found himself at the centre of online controversy. Widely recognised for his explanatory and investigative videos on socio-political, environmental, and current affairs issues, Rathee commands a massive following of over 30 million subscribers on YouTube. Recently, however, his name has been trending due to allegations of infidelity—claims that he and his wife have firmly denied.

In January 2026, rumours began circulating on platforms such as Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), alleging that Rathee had cheated on his wife, Juli Lbr, with an unnamed influencer. Amid the online speculation, Juli Lbr publicly defended her husband. Commenting on an Instagram post addressing the rumours, she urged people not to amplify unverified claims and reaffirmed her support for Rathee, writing:

“What the hell is this. Shitpos*** has gone a bit too far. Please don’t respond. Please don’t spread this bull**** rumours. Dhruv is the sweetest husband and we couldn’t be happier.”

Juli Lbr is a German medical student and social media personality who also works as a part-time cameraperson for Rathee’s travel vlogs. The couple first met in 2014 on a tram in Germany when both were 19 years old. Over time, their daily encounters turned into a close friendship and eventually a long-term relationship.

After dating for nearly seven years, Dhruv and Juli married in two ceremonies reflecting their respective faiths. Their first, a Christian wedding, took place on November 24, 2021, at Vienna’s Belvedere Palace in a small, intimate gathering.
