Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Shares Emotional Message on Daughter’s Wedding

Renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan admitted that he became emotional while singing at the wedding of his daughter, Maheen Khan.

Khan shared, “I have performed on numerous shows around the world and sung many wedding songs, but my daughter’s wedding day was a truly special and unforgettable moment for me.”

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan added that despite his busy schedule with Pakistan Idol and other commitments during the wedding festivities, he could not hide his emotions. “This day was not only personally memorable but also filled with pride and love as a father,” he said.

He further revealed that his wife managed all the wedding arrangements, and during the celebrations, memories of his father, Farooq Fateh Ali Khan, and legendary uncle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, kept returning to his mind. These moments evoked feelings of fatherly love as well as cherished family traditions and musical memories.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan emphasized, “Maheen’s wedding was more than just a ceremony; it was one of life’s most beautiful and emotional moments, giving a unique color to both my heart and musical journey.”
