Shahid Kapoor’s Movie ‘O Romeo’ Trailer Out

The trailer of O Romeo, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, was released on Wednesday.

Vishal Bhardwaj has cast Shahid Kapoor in O Romeo, whose trailer is finally out. In the film, Shahid plays a gangster who calls himself a hero, moving through violence with a disturbing swagger. The trailer makes it clear that this won’t be a simple crime story; it is a revenge drama built on chaos, obsession, and brutality.

Sharing the trailer of O Romeo on his Instagram handle, Shahid Kapoor captioned it, “Don’t mess with Ustra, he’ll cut your soul out of your body.”

The film explores the dark underworld of Mumbai, balancing intense action with musical sequences and moments of classic Vishal Bhardwaj quirkiness. Shahid’s character is shown navigating a violent life while yearning for Triptii’s affection, highlighting the emotional and moral conflicts of a crime-ridden world.

Apart from Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, O Romeo features a powerful ensemble cast including Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Aruna Irani, Vikrant Massey, and a special appearance by Tamannaah Bhatia.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, O Romeo is scheduled to release during Valentine’s Week on 13 February 2026.
