“This is digital violence,” Alina stated, explaining how AI technology was being misused to harm her credibility. She condemned the act and vowed not to remain silent in the face of such attacks. Alina also expressed her intention to support legal action against those responsible for creating and distributing the deepfake material.
In her video message, Alina tagged Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Punjab Cyber Crime Department (CCD), and the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing, urging them to enact stronger laws against AI-generated deepfakes to prevent future incidents.
Alina concluded her message with a call to the public and social media users, urging them not to share unverified or “leaked” videos, as it can severely damage an individual’s reputation and spread misinformation.
