Italian influencer Damiano Alberti with 12,000 followers on Instagram, dies at 23 after a three-year cancer battle with a malignant leg tumor. Here’s what happened and his journey.

On Monday 16 February, Damiano’s family confirmed his death by shared a post on social media with a short emotional tribute “A part of us has flown away forever,” they wrote. “Damiano is free from everything he went through.”

Alberti family thanked to all the supporters of him who stand with him during his difficult journey.

Three years back, Alberti a lifestyle influencer open about his illness journey on social media, that he had been diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his leg, but he had a fully treatment plans and continued to share all his treatment procedures with his supporters.

But in the end of 2025, Danimo had shared video with a moment of hope, that he is trying to learning to walk again and wish to return in his normal life, although the recent reports alleging that his condition became worse in the start of 2026, yet his medical team put a lot of efforts in Italy, unfortunately the cancer in the end spread, leading to his unfortunate passing.

Damiano’s fans express their sorrow and grief after getting confirmation about his death.
