Police Contact Former Guards in Andrew Case Linked to Epstein
Former bodyguards of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor have been asked by police looking into his connections to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to “consider carefully whether anything they saw or heard” is pertinent to their investigations.
The former Duke of York’s close protection officers, both past and present, are being identified and contacted by the Metropolitan Police, who are asking them to provide any information that could help with the inquiry.
According to former prime minister Gordon Brown, police should “urgently” reexamine allegations that women or girls were trafficked to the UK on flights to Stansted. Detectives are also collaborating with US authorities to determine whether London airports were used to “facilitate human trafficking and sexual exploitation.”
It occurs at a time when it is believed that Sir Keir Starmer is thinking about changing the law to remove the former prince from the line of succession after the police have completed their inquiry.
The Met stated on Friday that since the US Department of Justice released millions of papers pertaining to Epstein, no new allegations of sexual offenses had been made.
