Alia Bhatt And Farhan Akhtar Make Waves At BAFTA 2026

Alia Bhatt and Farhan Akhtar were spotted turning heads at the BAFTA 2026 ceremony. Alia Bhatt is invited as a presenter to BAFTA 2026 ceremony, while Farhan Akhtar won Best Children’s and Family Film award for his film Boong.

Bhatt was spotted wearing a sparkling custom Gucci by Demna silver colored sequin gown and white faux fur wrapped around her arms, on the other hand, Farhan Akhtar an actor-director along with his wife Shibani, gripped attention too in their stylish outfits, Farhan wore a black tuxedo with a multi-colored bow tie, Shibani chose a golden, shiny satin gown for the night, with a pink clutch and a high bun. Farhan Akhtar with the team of Boong at BAFTA 2026

Alia Bhatt was attending event as a presenter. She presented the award for Best Film in a Non-English Language. This event also patents the Alpha star’s debut on the BAFTA red carpet and stage. Alia starts her speech with a “Namaskar,” highlighted her commitment to inspiring the Hindi film industry on a global stage over cinema and cultural representation.

With Hindi speech on stage, Alia made country proud. She opened by stating, “Namaskar, Agla award ek aise film ke liye hain, jo angrezi me nahi hai.” After a short pause, she continued, “Don’t reach for the subtitles just yet,” clarifying that she was introducing the next award category in Hindi.

The main of Farhan Akhtar’s attending this Awards for his production house Excel Entertainment-backed award-winning film Boong. The Manipuri film was nominated and even won the Best Children’s and Family Film award. Farhan also had the company of the movie’s team at the red carpet, including director Lakshmipriya Devi, and co-producers Alan McAlex, and Ritesh Sidhwani. Infact, Boong‘s win became historic for an Indian-backed production in that category.
