Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Public Snub of Chitrangda Raises Eyebrows

Hindi cinema’s most versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui clashes with Chitrangda Singh in the recent event, amid MeToo Movement in 2018.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has played many emotional and touching roles alongside leading Bollywood actresses, including Chitrangda Singh.

In the event Nawazuddin Siddiqui was appeared in the NBT Utsav awards night in Mumbai and was seen greeting every guest in attendance. However, when he overlapped paths with Chitrangda Singh, and ignored her presence, Nawaz meeting with Shefali Shah, Sidhant Chaturvedi ,Ishaan Khatter,  Mrunal Thakur and.

Nawaz slightly walked near from Chitrangda without greeting her, as she was just seated next to Shefali Shah, same goes to her, she avoids the actor’s ignorance too, the video rapidly goes viral on social media, and the reactions was incomparable. One of the users wrote, “Last mei chitra thi us se bhi mil hi lete… abhi to dono ne movie kri sath mei.”

The main reason of Chitrangda Singh and Nawazuddin’s snub is that, the actress Chitrangda flattened solemn accusations of harassment against director Kushan Nandy during the making of the film, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz in 2018. The director force her to execute a “titillating” intimate scene. When Chitrangda implored with the makers that she wasn’t comfortable with the scene, the director told her not to make a trouble and to do it. As per Chitrangda, Nawaz just sat there without saying anything in her support.
