Was Jennifer Runyon Married? Late Actress’ Personal Life And Journey Explored

Jennifer Runyon, the actress who best-known for her role in the TV series Charles in Charge and the big screen blockbuster Ghostbusters, has died, after a brief battle with cancer, she has passed away on March 6, 2026.

When the news disclosed, all over social media has pouring tribute which goes viral. The news about the actress death revealed by her family through Facebook, surrounded by her loved ones, according to TMZ, no cause of death was confirmed. But according to actress Erin Murphy Runyon’s longtime friend, wrote that the actress had battled cancer.

“So sad to share that my friend Jennifer Runyon Corman has passed away after a brief battle with cancer. Some people you just know you’ll be friends with before you even meet. She was a special lady. I’ll miss you Jenn. My thoughts are with your family and beautiful children,” Murphy, 61, wrote.

In 1980, the Ghostbusters actress’s first acting debut ‘To All a Goodnight’ released. In 1981, she began her career on television, by playing ‘Sally Frame’ in the NBC soap opera Another World.

Jennifer got the fame by her role from Charles in Charge and Space. In 1984, featured as female student in a supernatural comedy film Ghostbusters.

Moreover, Jennifer also a part of Tv films such as like A Very Brady Christmas and A Man Called Sarge.

Apart form showbiz Industry Jennifer had a beautiful family; she married with Todd Corman and they both shared two children.

The actress husband Todd Corman also related with showbiz industry, he worked as an assistant director and editor, in few projects.

Todd Corman was born in Santa Monica, California. In 1988, film Killer Klowns from Outer Space is the reason of Todd’s recognition in the showbiz. Apart from this, he worked in movies as well including, D3: The Mighty Ducks and Jingle All the Way. released in 1996.

In 1986, Jennifer and Todd’s relationship has started, they both met on the set, in the association ‘Dreams of Gold: The Mel Fisher Story’ television film, and then in 1996, they got married, first they blessed with a son named Wyatt in 1993, and then 1995 they couple blessed with a daughter named Bayley. After Wyatt’s birth Jennifer took a long break from Showbiz.

Jennifer’s children follow her footsteps and pursue their career in showbiz, Wyatt, has been a production assistant in the television movie, Piranhaconda, released in 2012, while her daughter, Bayley herself an actress and appearing in a lot of films and TV shows so far, including 9-1-1, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Jane the Virgin, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

“All of the best parts of me came from you. I would give anything for one more day together,” she wrote. “The kindest most compassionate person I’ve ever known. My best friend. I wasn’t ready for this.”
