Resham’s Remarks on Eid Spark Controversy Among Fans

A well-known Pakistani showbiz industry’s actress Resham has made unusual statement about Eid, and how the ongoing global crisis had affected her festivities which has gone viral.

Resham started her career from PTV and she later shifted to films. She kept doing films and she later shifted to television when the content became subpar. She has always remained popular among fans due to her acting, style, and fashion sense. Later, due to a decay in the worth of films, she returned to television and also attained success there.

Resham, recently made a surprise guest appearance on Naya Rasta, where she unveiled that she, “Do not celebrate Eid if I cannot see happiness around.”

The actress remark, this year has been very tough on the world. With on-going wars, we have seen pain and devastation and many lives have been lost. The economic crash has also affected people who were not able to celebrate the holiday in the correct manner.

Resham shared that she does not celebrate Eid when the world around her is not celebrating. She was asked how she celebrates Eid and she revealed how her external environment affects her celebration.

The internet is having a field day today with her statement. Some supported it while other did not.

One sure wrote, “Eid is a gift from Allah. We have to celebrate it.

“Another added, “Once an actress always an actress.” One said, “I agree with her. It is difficult to celebrate this year.”
