Hamza Ali Abbasi Sister Dr Fazeela’s Money Laundering Case

Hamza Ali Abbasi sister Dr Fazeela Abbasi is confronting serious and high-profile legal challenges, that FIA registered two separate cases against her on charges of money laundering and operating an unregistered clinic.

After an Islamabad sessions, court revoked her interim bail in a major money laundering case involving Rs25 billion marking a key development in the ongoing investigation.

According to the FIR, around Rs. 25 billion was deposited into 22 bank accounts linked to the accused and subsequently moved to Dubai and the United States. According officials the sources of these funds have not yet been conventional.

Investigators are more likely to follow the case destructively, and claimed to have evidence of money laundering via hawala and hundi channels, now the authorities are more concentrating on confirming the legality and origin of the transferred funds. Though no final decisions have been reached yet, the case has quickly become one of the most closely monitored financial probes in recent times.
