Former reality TV personality Joseph Duggar, known for appearing on 19 Kids and Counting, has come under intense scrutiny following his arrest over serious allegations involving a minor. Authorities in Florida reportedly detained Duggar on charges related to inappropriate conduct stemming from an alleged incident during a family vacation in 2020.

According to reports, the case involves accusations of “lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor,” with investigators stating that the alleged victim was nine years old at the time. Law enforcement officials later revealed details indicating repeated inappropriate behavior.

“The way I feel about it is, I think Kendra should divorce him. She needs a new life. The best thing to do would be to divorce him and go on with her life. I don’t know what the charges are going to be for Kendra. I don’t know, we’re all waiting to see. While my heart goes out to her, I know there has been some wrong decisions. My prayers are for the victims. For Kendra, for Joseph, for the whole family, wake up and repent of their pride, their feeling of the world is against them, get things right in their family.”

Investigators also shared details from the victim’s statement, which described how interactions that initially appeared harmless allegedly became increasingly inappropriate over time. The affidavit claims that Duggar repeatedly asked the minor to “sit on his lap, numerous times” and later encouraged closer physical proximity under troubling circumstances.
