Saba Faisal Backs Javeria Saud in Yumna Zaidi Debate

Pakistan’s all-rounder veteran actress Saba Faisal, who is best known for her hosting, acting, and TV announcement. She always take out the steps and raise her voice and give her opinion whatever the current controversies circulating in media and entertainment industry.

Following the recent debate between Javeria Saud and Yumna Zaidi. Saba Faisal spoke on the behalf of Javeria Saud ’s age shaming comment of Yumna Zaidi.

Saba Faisal also highlight that Yumna is such talented actress in the showbiz and given lots hit projects, so this is an enough reason that no one can easily say any negative word about her.

This is what she actually said: “I want to talk on the most viral issue on social media right now. It has become a norm that every other day a controversy goes viral from TV shows. Now the Javeria and Yumna controversy is going viral. My request to the channel is to bound the host to ask certain questions, not more, not less, on any issue. Like, we don’t start anything on our own in the interviews; we are given a certain type of questions to which we reply. But if the channel is intended to ask controversial questions in order to go viral for ratings and views, then it’s a very unethical thing. Our channels should know their responsibility to bound anchors. Like, I was asked about surgeries, to which I was bound to reply because I was put in a place where I had to answer. I believe the host should be more intelligent than the guest and should explore the talent of the guest instead of asking about others. Always come up with smart questions because I am not the person who dodges questions. And it was said about Yumna that she has been working since the stone age; I don’t think Javeria targeted Yumna Zaidi because Yumna is such a fine actor that no one can say anything like this about her. What I think is Javeria was talking in general because here people spend lives in getting their breakthroughs. There are many actors who got famous after their peak time was gone, so this wasn’t said for her for sure. But now all are blaming her that it was said for her, so you, as a host, should respect your seat. Now people are requesting me not to be invited to their shows. I would say the same for the host, that you should be responsible instead of putting the blame on actors. Here, channels and actors should know where to stop. I have said it all, which is enough for those who want to take lessons.”
