The Boys Season 5 Cast Revealed: Returning Characters, New Additions and Final Chapter Details

08 April, 2026 09:28

The highly anticipated final chapter of The Boys is set to premiere within hours, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of Season 5. As excitement builds, the spotlight is on the returning cast members and new additions who will shape the climactic battle.

The central team, known as “The Boys,” will once again unite to take on the powerful and corrupt corporation behind the creation of the “Supes.” Key members including Billy Butcher, Hughie Campbell, Frenchie, Mother’s Milk, Kimiko, and Annie January will all return for the final showdown.

Leading the charge, Karl Urban reprises his role as “Billy Butcher,” the determined leader driven by revenge against Vought and its superheroes. Alongside him, Jack Quaid returns as “Hughie Campbell,” who continues his fight after a personal tragedy sparked his journey in Season 1.

On the opposing side, Antony Starr once again portrays “Homelander,” the formidable and unpredictable leader of The Seven. Despite his heroic public image, the character continues to reveal darker psychological layers.

Season 5 also highlights shifting loyalties. “Annie” has already left The Seven to join The Boys, while “A-Train,” played by Jessie T. Usher, begins to question his allegiance after witnessing the corruption within the superhero system.

Other returning cast members include Laz Alonso as “Mother’s Milk,” Tomer Capone as “Frenchie,” and Karen Fukuhara as “Kimiko,” each bringing their unique strengths to the team for one last mission.

Meanwhile, The Seven will continue under Homelander’s influence, with Chace Crawford returning as “The Deep” and Nathan Mitchell as “Black Noir.”

Family dynamics also play a key role this season. Jensen Ackles reprises his role as “Soldier Boy,” revealed as Homelander’s father, while Cameron Crovetti returns as “Ryan,” Homelander’s son and the first naturally born Supe.

Additional members of The Seven include Susan Heyward as “Sister Sage,” Valorie Curry as “Firecracker,” and Colby Minifie as “Ashley Barrett,” who gains powers after taking Compound V.

New faces will also join the final season. Daveed Diggs has been added as a series regular, while Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins are set to make special appearances.

The first two episodes of the final season will premiere on April 8, 2026 (ET), with the series finale expected to air in May 2026, marking the end of one of the most popular superhero dramas.
