Dr Omer Adil Defends His Comments on Nargis On Live Show

A media personality and host Dr Omer Adil, has remained a controversial figure in recent years His statements and public arguments often go viral on social media portray strong reactions from spectators. He is once again trending, this time for stating his appreciation for Nargis and for reportedly integration with Resham.

Recently, Dr Omer appeared as a guest on Fiza Ali’s show, where he addressed the situation and clarified his earlier stance.

Dr Omer Adil once stated during a show that he felt he saw God while watching Nargis perform. Nargis, a film and theatre artist, appeared in numerous roles before eventually leaving showbiz in pursuit of a more religious path. His remarks quickly went viral at the time, as many people questioned what, in her dance performances, could inspire such a level of admiration or devotion.

Dr Omer Adil was questioned by Fiza Ali for linking spirituality to Nargis’ dance performances. She challenged how someone as educated as him could make such a statement.

Dr Omer respond and clarified that that he considers himself a cultured individual and clarified that he was not sanctioning all vulgar mujras performed in theatres. Instead, he said he was speaking direct about his friend Nargis and the sense of spirituality he personally observes in her performances. He further said that he sees spirituality in every color and every being, and if others cannot observe it, that is their viewpoint.

He more claimed that if people want to disapprove such dances, the blame should not fall merely on the dancer. According to him, greater responsibility lies with the men who attend and watch these performances. He concluded by saying that he has the right to hold and express his own opinion.
