Momina Iqbal Seeks Justice in Harassment Case, CM Maryam Nawaz Steps In

Recently, Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal shared serious claimed on her Instagram in which she speaks out about facing harassment, abusive messages and mental pressure for a long time, and after repeated complaints to the cybercrime authorities and police, and failed to get any proper protection. So in her story the actress urge Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz to take some action.

In the case, the actress highlighted some famous personality’s name whose are associate in Punjab Assembly member, politician Saqib Chaddar and his wife in her complaint to cybercrime officials.

The latest update of this case is Momina posted a story, in which she thanking Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for taking instant action after allegations of online harassment, cyberbullying, and threats involving a sitting Punjab Assembly member.

According to reports, both individuals have now been summoned as investigators continue the inquiry.

The situation became more intense after Momina alleged that some people linked to the Punjab Chief Minister’s office tried to stop her from pursuing the case, giving it a political angle. She also said, she and her family were receiving threats and described the experience as “mental torture.” She notified that she would issue proof and hold a press conference if justice was not provided.

Later, in a new Instagram statement, Momina thanked the government for responding quickly after the issue gained public attention. She appreciated CM Maryam Nawaz for assigning the case to relevant authorities and providing security to her and her family. She also thanked NCCIA for issuing summons to the accused.

Momina said she would wait for her official statement before naming anyone publicly and added that other women had also contacted her with similar allegations. Saqib Chaddar has not yet issued a detailed response.
