SIFC Supports Efforts to Boost Foreign Investment in Pakistan

A Dutch business delegation, led by Netherlands Ambassador Robert-Jan Siegert, visited the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.

During the visit, Dr. Jahanzeb, Secretary of the SIFC Apex Committee, briefed the delegation on one-window facilitation services and investment opportunities in the country.

The Dutch delegation was informed about investment opportunities in Special Economic Zones, including Karachi Industrial Park and Bin Qasim Industrial Park.

The meeting also discussed trade under the Generalised Scheme of Preferences Plus (GSP+) and business reforms aimed at improving trade relations.

Increased Dutch investment and stronger trade ties are expected to support exports, boost industrial activity and create more employment opportunities in Pakistan.
