Andrea del Val’s Bloodied Video Sparks Cannes Controversy

In the video shared on social media, the model is heard saying: “Look what Giovanni Laguna did to me. This is what I wanted, for you to show who you are.” The footage showed the disorder inside the hotel room where the reported incident took place.

As per Latin American Media reports, their heated exchange turned into a physical fight.

The French polis came after getting call from hotel guest as they hearing screaming and chaos coming from the room.

French police arrested Giovanni Laguna and videos later showed him leaving the scene in police handcuffs.

Reports state, Andrea del Val received medical care and is reportedly out of danger.

Meanwhile, Giovanni Laguna has denied hitting the model. Speaking publicly about the incident, He said a falling lighting fixture came loose during the collision caused her injury. As per his statement the incident happened during a verbal argument in a rented apartment in Cannes.

Latin American media highlight the incident, as it happened with high profile stylist who has worked for years in the beauty pageant industry and is professionally linked to Fátima Bosch.

Authorities in France ahs not been issued any official statement on charges or the status of the ongoing investigation.
