Momina Iqbal Case: NCCIA Finds Saqib Chadhar Responsible

LAHORE: the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has has reportedly found Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar guilty in an investigation into allegations of harassment and threats made by actress Momina Iqbal.

Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Siddiqui heard the interim bail pleas of Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Sameera, during proceedings at a Lahore sessions court.

Both sides were represented by their lawyers during the hearing. Advocate Adnan Ehsan represented actress Momina Iqbal, while Rana Maroof seemed on behalf of Saqib Chadhar.

The inquiry against Saqib Chadhar had been completed, and the investigation officer told the court that Saqib Chadhar was found responsible during the investigation

The officer also informed the court that Saqib Chadhar’s wife, Sameera, had handed over her mobile phone to the NCCIA two days earlier. The phone has now been sent for forensic examination.

Momina Iqbal’s legal representative requested the court not to grant bail, claiming that the accused could pose a threat to the actress if released.

After hearing the arguments, the court called both sides to present their final arguments at the next hearing and extended the interim bail of Saqib Chadhar and his wife until September 3.

Momina Iqbal also took to her Instagram Story to hit back at those spreading what she called false speculation about a settlement or reconciliation.
