Prince of Wales Reveals 15 Finalists for 2026 Earthshot Prize

Prince of Wales team shared the news about coming Eartshot Prize 2026 amid growing attention surrounding Prince Harry’s Diana documentary.

The future king of Britain has presented the 15 finalists for the 2026 Earthshot Prize, which distinguishes projects working on major environmental tasks. The finalists contain organizations using different tactics to address climate change, look after nature and recover communities.

Among the finalists is India’s Mahila Housing Trust, recognised under the “Fix Our Climate” category. The organisation works with vulnerable communities affected by extreme heat. The trust helps communities stay cool by using reflective white paint and offering insurance support when extreme heat prevents people from working.

One more finalist is Danish renewable energy company Ørsted. The Earthshot Prize emphasized its shift from being profoundly reliant on coal to concentrating on renewable energy. The organization has also been intricate in emerging major offshore wind projects.

Pula, another “Fix Our Climate” finalist, uses satellite and field data to provide climate-risk insurance for farmers. According to the organisation, the programmes have reached millions of farmers across Africa, and help them deal with financial losses caused by climate change.

Across the five categories in 2026 Earthshot prize has 15 finalists, like climate, clean air, oceans, waste and nature. Each of the five winners will be awarded £1 million at the ceremony, which is scheduled for November 17 in Mumbai.
