King Charles Receives Unexpected ‘Back Off’ Response to Kind Gesture

King Charles was reportedly left concerned after an attempt to contact his old friend Sir Ranulph Fiennes ended in an unexpected dispute.

The monarch had reportedly learned that the renowned writer and explorer was experiencing serious health problems after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease around two years ago. Charles was said to have wanted to check on his friend, who had reportedly become increasingly isolated.

However, according to The Telegraph, the Palace was asked to stay away after contact details for Fiennes’ wife, Millington-Cotes, were shared with the King’s representatives. She reportedly reacted angrily and told them to “back off”, while also threatening an intermediary with a solicitor and the police.

The King’s equerry had reportedly been contacted by an individual who wanted to know how Charles could reach Fiennes. The person provided Millington-Cotes’ details, noting that she was also the explorer’s legal guardian.

Charles was reportedly “most concerned” after hearing about Fiennes’ condition and isolation. The individual who provided the information apparently believed the explorer would be pleased to know that the King was concerned about him.

Fiennes, widely recognised for his exploration achievements, has reportedly stayed away from the public eye. His friends and relatives have raised concerns about his wellbeing, while reports have claimed he has been moved between different care homes.

Millington-Cotes has reportedly made several claims about the royal family, including an allegation that Charles disliked her husband and that Queen Camilla had helicopters fly over their home to bother them.
