Federal Government vows to establish economic zones in 4 provinces. Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar said this while talking to a private news channel.

Furthermore, he said that PTI government remains determined to establish four economic zones.

Besides, government will spend $ 9 billion to improve the railway system.    He said that that feasibility for ML-1 project has been prepared.

He said the social protection division is functioning to improve the life style of the poor.

Asad Umar further said that the government allocated Rs 192 billion for Ehsaas programme.

That programme helps deserving and poor families.

He said at least 190 shelter homes with provision of food have been established in different parts of the country for the poor.

PTI government plans

Prime Minister Imran Khan would launch a series of development projects in Karachi soon.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said this while talking to reporters in Karachi on Monday.

He spoke to them following his visit to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) head office.

Furthermore, he underlined that federal government was funding those projects for Karachi.

However, he also highlighted completion or near completion of various projects.

The Minister further said credit goes to PTI government.

He said, “These are besides other large sized projects for which federal government has already announced a package of Rs162 billion.”
