FO spokesperson weekly briefing devotes much time to Corona Virus issue amid complaints from Pakistanis from China.

Foreign Office spokesperson Aisha Farooqui spoke on all measures which the government is taking in this regard.
She highlighted measures for the assistance, safety and welfare of Pakistani nationals in China ever since the outbreak of coronavirus there.
During her weekly news briefing in Islamabad today (Thursday), she elaborated how diplomatic missions were serving. 
She said that our embassy and consulates in China have reached out to all the Pakistani students.

She further said that Pakistan officials are also in touch with the Chinese officials.
The latter have assured Pakistan about the safety and wellbeing of our nationals, she said.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui thanked the Chinese authorities for extending best possible assistance to Pakistani nationals.
Farooqui also said that a high power committee also established.
She said that the committee comprises of the representative stakeholders to constantly monitor the situation emerging from the outbreak of the virus.
However, the FO spokeswoman also spoke on Indian atrocities in Kashmir (IOJK).

She strongly regretted that the Indian leadership unleashed a constant jingoistic rhetoric and war hysteria against Pakistan.
She said that India is making desperate attempts to divert attention from growing domestic and international criticism.
Aisha Farooqui was referring to India’s discriminatory, anti-Kashmir and anti-minority policies evoked worldwide criticism.
She said that nobody should underestimate Pakistan’s resolve to effectively thwart any aspiration of aggression again Pakistan.
She expressing concerns over blatant human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
FO spokesperson urged the international community to take cognizance of the situation in the valley.
Moreover, she said Pakistan is effectively raising the Kashmir dispute at the international level.
She said our missions abroad have also prepared a comprehensive plan to fully observe the Kashmir solidarity day. 
Furthermore, the plan aims at drawing world attention to the lingering dispute.
