Foreign Minister expresses satisfaction over Pakistan Azerbaijan ties.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan Ali Alizada paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Thursday.

During the meeting, Qureshi expressed satisfaction on the status of existing ties between the two countries.

Furthermore, he appreciated Ambassador Alizada’s contributions in further strengthening them.

The Foreign Minister recalled Pakistan’s support to Azerbaijan during the recent conflict on Nagorno-Karabakh.

He reaffirmed cooperation in reconstruction and rehabilitation of affected areas.

Moreover, he noted enhanced momentum of high-level interactions and progress on cooperation in trade and commerce, energy, education and cultural spheres.

The Foreign Minister urged that two sides continue deepening bilateral relations built on historic and religious bonds and exceptional good will in all fields of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik called on Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Thursday.

Qureshi said the government would take every possible step for welfare of overseas Pakistanis and addressing their problems on priority basis.

FM portal and NADRA’s new digital system for overseas Pakistanis

He also hailed overseas Pakistanis as a precious asset of the country.

The Minister said FM Portal established at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for redressal of complaints of the overseas Pakistanis.

On the occasion, the NADRA Chairman apprised the Foreign Minister of the new digital system.

NADRA introduced it for overseas Pakistanis to obtain succession certificates.

He also briefed about the online visa system launched for promotion of tourism and investment.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister appreciated the NADRA facilities being extended to the overseas Pakistanis.
