Former nazim Karachi Naimatullah Khan passes away afer long ailment.
The senior Jamaat-e-Islami leader Naimatullah Khan dies today at the age of 89 years.
Karachiites had elected him as the first Nazim of Karachi in 2001 municipal election according to new LG system.

He had resigned from his office in June 2005.
Meanwhile, President Dr. Arif Alvi has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Mayor Karachi Naimatullah Khan.
In a tweet message on Tuesday, the president recalled him as a great man.
He prayed that may Allah Al-Mighty forgive him and give him high ranks in Janna.
