Fresh rain spell likely from today: NDMA alert

A new rain spell is expected in various cities across the country from today.

Under the influence of the fresh rain spell, rain with thunderstorm is likely in various places from today till April 29. There is a risk of flooding in the river channels of Balochistan from April 26 to 27, said an NDMA spokesperson.

He said that heavy rains are likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 27 to 28 April and possibility of flooding in rivers and canals.

Landsliding is expected in Upper KP, Murree, Galiyat, Kashmir and GB from 27th to 29th April.

PDMAs and other agencies are advised to remain alert, the spokesperson said.
