06 March, 2024 19:00

Karachi Kings are back on the winning ways as they clinch a seven-wicket victory over Quetta Gladiators to stay alive in the HBL Pakistan Super League season nine (PSL9).

Shan Masood-led side now have three wins in seven games, and with three games in hand they could make it to playoffs if they win all of their remaining games.

Their next game will be up against Islamabad United, who are at fourth spot with seven points. If Karachi manage to beat the two-time HBL PSL winners, they would go to the fourth spot with eight points with both sides have two game remaining in the tournament.

With each passing game, the route to the playoffs are getting tighter, and only Multan Sultan have booked their birth in the knockouts.

They are at the top of the table with 12 points, followed by Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, who are at second and third respectively with nine points each.
