Indonesia confers the highest military award on Pakistan Naval Chief.
The most populous Muslim majority has recognized his services for strengthening the ties between the naval forces of both the countries.

In recognition of services, Indonesia has conferred the highest military award.
Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi has become recepient of Bintang Jalasena Utama.
During his visit to Jakarta, Pak Navy chief also held meetings with the Indonesian deputy defense minister, the Naval Chief and the Commandant of Marine Corps.
The two sides discussed mutual cooperation and matters pertaining to further expanding cooperation between the two naval forces.
Admiral Abbasi also visited different military installations in Indonesia.
Pakistan Naval Chief hailed the professionalism of Indonesian marines.
Pakistan Indonesia Relations
In 2018, a historic milestone in Pakistan-Indonesia relations achieved when President of Indonesia, a visionary people’s leader of one of the largest Muslim country of the world, Joko Widodo arrived in Islamabad.
The President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain himself arrived at the Nur Khan Base to welcome his counterpart from a brotherly Islamic country.
Both Pakistan and Indonesia have decades of congeniality of relations between the two states.
Thea two-days state level visit showed the strengthened ties.
