Instagram set to rollout WhatsApp-like feature

Instagram, the popular messaging platform for photos and videos around the world, is gearing up to introduce a major WhatsApp-style feature.

According to reports, Instagram is introducing a feature called “Early Access to Features” that will work like WhatsApp’s beta program. Currently, Instagram users need to join the Android beta program to get early access to the new features. With this new option, users will be able to access new features directly in Instagram. The  new feature will be available in Instagram settings.

Although the details on this feature have not been revealed yet, efforts will be made to improve it keeping in mind the feedback of the users.

Instagram has not officially confirmed the new feature, making it unclear when it will be launched.
