Iran binded Gaza ceasefire for ending middle east crises

18 January, 2024 20:48

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Wednesday If the genocide in Gaza stops, then it will lead to the end of other crises and attacks in the region.

“The security of the Red Sea is tied to the developments in Gaza, and everyone will suffer if Israel’s crimes in Gaza do not stop … All the (resistance) fronts will remain active”, Amirabdollahian said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

“We warned that if the war crimes and genocide against Gaza and the West Bank don’t stop, the war will spread out, it will become larger,” he said.

“That doesn’t mean we want it or want to play a role in this enlargement, no, it’s because we have a proper understanding of the situation and conditions in the region. Some of the groups mentioned (Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen) have acted to defend Gaza.”

Israel’s war on Gaza unites Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian government, the Houthis in Yemen, and armed groups in Iraq and Syria who call themselves Axis of Resistance.

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continued their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of almost 24,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

On martyrdom anniversary of General Qasem Soleimani, Seyyed Ali Khamenei affirmed that the resistance and steadfastness of Gaza for almost three months can be attributed to the ‘existence of the resistance front’.
