Ireland to tour Pakistan next year

The Ireland men’s cricket team is set to tour of Pakistan in August and September next year for a series of limited-overs series.

The tour will be part of the Future Tours Programme 2023-27, where both sides would play three ODIs and the same number of T20Is.

The conformation of the tour came after a meeting between Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and his Irish counterpart Brian MacNeice on Sunday.

During the meeting, MacNeice warmly welcomed Naqvi and presented him with an Ireland cricket team jersey as a token of appreciation.

Furthermore, the duo also mule over the women’s cricket series, with both parties expressing mutual interest in organizing series tours in near future.

The meeting in Dublin was also attended by Warren Deutrom, the Chief Executive Officer of Cricket Ireland, along with other key officials from Cricket Ireland.
