Judge Shaukat Siddiqui case: SC issued notice to former DGISI Faiz Hameed

Islamabad : The Supreme Court has issued notices to former DGISI Lt Gen (Rtd) Faiz Hameed and others in the Shaukat Siddiqui dismissal case.
Along with Faiz Hameed, former Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Anwar Kasi, Brigadier Irfan Ramey, former Registrar Supreme Court Arbab Arif have also been issued notices.
A 5-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa heard the case, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Mandukhel, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Irfan Saadat are also included in the bench.

Petitioner’s lawyer Hamid Khan argued that his client has included the names of the parties in his petition.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan inquired whether Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui’s allegations are true. Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui was fired for a speech based on these allegations, think and answer if your allegations are true, the generals you want to side with did they themselves want to come to power in 2018?

Justice Faiz said that he said in his speech that General Faiz said that General Bajwa is angry, if General Faiz Hameed comes and says that he did everything on the request of General Qamar Bajwa, then the chain will be connected.
