Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to elect its new CM today

Voting for the election of the new chief minister in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly of will be held today.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s nominated Ali Amin Gandapur will face Dr. Ibadullah Khan for the slot of CM.

Yesterday, PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council’s Babar Saleem Swati was elected as the new speaker of the provincial assembly and Suraya Bibi as the deputy speaker.

The Balochistan Assembly will elect its leader of the house and the new chief minister on Saturday.

Nomination papers for the post of chief minister will be received by 5 pm today.

In the Balochistan Assembly, Abdul Khaliq Achakzai of PML-N has been elected unopposed as Speaker while Ghazala Gola of PPP as deputy speaker.
