The pollen count in Islamabad saw a decrease on Thursday, dropping to 32,446 particles per cubic meter of air, according to data from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
This marks a reduction from 38,604 recorded the previous day in the H-8 sector, but the levels remain high enough to cause health issues for allergy sufferers.

The latest figures show a decline across various sectors of Islamabad:
H-8: 32,446 (previously 38,604)
G-6: 7,604 (previously 8,940)
E-8: 6,687 (previously 7,795)
F-10: 4,631 (previously 5,817)

Islamabad’s air is filled with multiple types of pollen, but some species contribute significantly more than others:
Paper Mulberry – 32,252 (Very High)
Cannabis – 71 (High)
Grasses – 102 (High)
Pines – 76 (Moderate)
