Maryam announces Rs400bn package for farmers

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced a Rs400 billion package for the farmers across the province.

According to GTV, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz while addressing the ceremony in Phoolnagar said that the Kissan Package would be introduced before the next crop.

The chief minister further said that corruption in wheat procurement has been stopped and there is no wheat crisis in the province. No one will be more prosperous than the farmer of Punjab, she claimed.

She added that the farmers would be provided Rs1,50,000 on the card according to the crop. When the inflation goes up, it is not easy to reduce it.

She further said that the field hospitals in all the cities of Punjab are providing facilities at the doorsteps and the journey of development begins under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif. She claimed that after five years the entire Pakistan and Punjab will change.

The chief minister further aid that modern health facilities are being provided in all the health centers. The rural health center has been made functional in two months and the provision of health facilities is the first priority of the Punjab government. We have built field hospitals in containers throughout Punjab.

On the other hand, the arrests of the farmers’ leaders before the Kissan March in Lahore have reached a peak.

The president of the Kissan Board says that the police are conducting raids to arrest their leaders in the entire Punjab.

According to the details, President Kissan Board Sardar Zafar Hussain while explaining the details of the arrested leaders said that today there will be a Kissan March towards the office of Punjab CM .
