Minister Shireen Mazar represents Pakistan UNHRC 43 session in Geneva.
She said that all the minorities residing in Pakistan including Hindus, Sikhs and Christians enjoy complete religious freedom.
While addressing the 43rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva today, she also highlighted Pakistan role.

Federal Minister for Human Rights, Dr. Shireen Mazari said that Pakistan will continue to play role in promotion of regional peace.
She said Pakistan will continue to play its constructive role in elimination of terrorism.
Besides, Pakistan would play role for promotion of regional peace and stability.
Dr. Shireen Mazari also noted that Indian forces in occupied Kashmir are depriving the innocent Kashmiri people of their basic human rights.
UN council 43rd session
The 43rd session began on Feb.24 and would continue until March 20.
UN council review the situation of human rights in different countries.
Although, India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir is not included so far in the agenda Pakistan minister raised the issuesof IOJK.
Even Hindustan Times had reported that Pakistan may raise the issue of IOJK.
Sources had also said that Pakistan may also raise the issue of rights of minorities in India.

Congress leadership turned down an invite to the state banquet today for US President Donald Trump.
They included former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad and Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury
Media reported no meeting between US President Trump and any opposition leader.
