Nation celebrates Eidul Fitr with traditional fervour

Eidul Fitr is being celebrated across Pakistan on Tuesday with traditional zeal and fervour.

Congregational prayers were held across the country to mark the end of the holy month of Ramazan.
Special prayers were offered for the progress and substance of the country and the weal of the Muslim Ummah.
In the Civil capital, the main Eid congregation was held at the Faisal Mosque where President Dr Arif Alvi and high officers and envoys of Muslim countries offered Eid prayers.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz offered Eid prayers at the Jati Umrah Mosque in Lahore.
The chairman, in his communication to the nation, supplicated to Allah Almighty to make the day a source of joy and eases.
He thanked Allah Almighty for blessing the followers with the capability to worship during the Holy Ramazan and said that Eidul Fitr was an occasion to celebrate the capability Allah had bestowed us during the holy month.
The high minister in his communication prompted the countrymen to show compassion and take special care of the indigent people while celebrating the jubilee.
He said considering the Holy Ramazan’s spirit of tolerance, immolation and compassion, it was peremptory upon the followers to be redundant conservative about the requirements of the poor and indigent while celebrating the Eid.
The same is the true spirit of Eid and the training of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), he added
