Nepra increases power tariff once again

06 June, 2024 16:11

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in power tariff by Rs. 3.33 per unit from the month of June.

The newest blow to the citizen came in the monthly fuel adjustment charges. The consumers will bear the increased tariff this month.

The price hike will not apply to K-Electric and lifeline consumers.

The latest increase in electricity prices adds to the growing burden on consumers who are already grappling with rising food and fuel costs.
