Pakistan announced final XI for 3rd test match against Australia

Pakistan has announced its final XI for third and final test match against Australia in Sydney begining from tomorrow.

Opener Saim Ayub will make his test debut, replacing opener Imam-ul-Haq in the lineup, while right arm off spinner Sajid Khan will replace pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi for having a rest for upcoming t2o international series against new zealand starting from January 12.

Opener Imam-ul-Haq replacement was long-overdue for his slow batting during the series so far. The left-hander has scored 94 runs in four innings at a strike-rate of 31.22.

Imam debuted in 2018 against Ireland, played twenty four (24) test matches scored 1568 runs with a below par average of 37.33 runs by totaling (9) fifty’s and three (3) centuries, all three (100’s) were scored in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan lost the first test match against Australia at Perth by 360 runs, second test match at Melbourne by 79 runs and looking to register its first win in a test match against Australia on Australian soil since 1995.

Australian veteran batsmen David Warner to conclude his test career in Sydney test. In 111 test matches Warner has accumulated 8,695 runs at an average of 44.58, including 26 centuries and a career-high score of 335 not out, scored against Pakistan in 2019.
