Pakistan Army Chief salutes resilient nation in defeating extremist ideologies and for unflinching support to the armed forces.

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said this on third anniversary of Operation Raddul Fasaad (RuF) today.

Director General Inter Services Public Relations has issued COAS statement on official twitter account.

Pakistan Army Chief salutes

In series of tweets, he noted operation Raddul Fasaad completed 3 yrs today.

Armed forces launched it on 22 Feb 2017 across the country to consolidate gains of all past operations.

It aimed at indiscriminately eliminating residual/ latent threat of terrorism, ensuring security of Pak’s borders.

 

Sojourn to tourism from terrorism

Notably, army chief called this this a journey from Terrorism to Tourism, SF & Int agencies in which the entire nation backed. And Pakistan achieved unparalleled success at a monumental cost paid in men & material.

Moreover he paid “tribute to our martyrs, our real heroes, our pride.”

Meanwhile, he said we also salute our resilient nation in defeating extremists’ ideology.

The COAS further saluted nation for unflinching support to the AFs.”

He vowed for consolidating gains of 2 decades of war on terrorism to achieve enduring peace and stability both for Pakistan and the region.

He further said that Army is aware and capable of thwarting all threats to security and sovereignty of Pakistan irrespective of the cost.
