15 May, 2024 15:35

Pakistan and England are likely to miss their warm-up games of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

The tournament is scheduled to be played in June hosted by the USA and the West Indies.

The reason behind missing their warm-up games is because they will be playing four-match T20I series, which is commencing from May 22.

Pakistan will start their campaign against co-host USA on June 6 in Dallas, followed by the most anticipated game against India on June 09, then they will lock horns against Canada on 12th of the month in New York.

Their final league match against Ireland is slated for June 16 in Florida.

Meanwhile, England will start their journey in in the Caribbean for their initial games against Scotland and Australia on June 4 and 8 in Barbados.

Their remaining league fixtures against Oman and Namibia are set for June 13 and 15 in Antigua.

The ICC will soon announce the schedule for warm-up matches. Given that the multi-team tournament is set for June, it is anticipated that the warm-up fixtures will take place around May 25th and 26th.
