Pakistan qualify for FIH Nations Cup semifinal despite France defeat

Despite losing a thrilling high-scoring contest against France, Pakistan have managed to maintain second position in the Pool B of the FIH Nations Cup.

France have played three games, winning all and are at the top with nine points, while Pakistan have four points same as Malaysia.

However, due to better goal difference Pakistan have qualified for the semifinal and are set to face New Zealand on June 08.

The final will be held on June 9, with the winner earning a coveted spot in the Pro League.

In Pool A, New Zealand lead the table with a perfect record, accumulating 12 points. Korea, South Africa, Poland, and Australia each have three points and are competing fiercely for the second spot to qualify for the semi-finals.
