Pakistan summons Indian envoy to lodge protest against ceasefire violation.

Indian troops had resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in Chirikot Sector.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian forces targeted civilian population with artillery and mortar fire.

It resulted in martyrdom of an innocent citizen Mir Muhammad.

It also injured a woman in village Kakuta.

They evacuated the injured to nearby medical facility for necessary medical care.

Pakistan Army’s troops responded effectively, targeting Indian post which initiated fire.

Meanwhile, Indian Charge d’ Affaires Gaurav Ahluwalia was summoned to Foreign Office in Islamabad on Saturday.

The FO registered Pakistan’s strong protest at the ceasefire violations by Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control in Chirikot Sector.

According Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mir Muhammad embraced Shahadat due to the Indian forces’ indiscriminate and unprovoked firing.

The 32 years old Iffat Naz, w/o Muhammad Arshad residents of Kakuta village, sustained serious injuries.

The martyr also belonged to same village.

FO spokesperson said India cannot divert attention from the worsening human rights situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

She said that India cannot divert attention by raising tensions along the LoC and the Working Boundary.
