Pak Army Colonel martyred in a bloody encounter with terrorists in DI Khan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) near Tank district.
Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on terrorist hideout.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), two high-profile terrorists also lost their lives during the operation in Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan.
Pak Army Colonel martyred
ISPR stated that as soon as troops cordoned off the area, terrorists began firing.
However, Colonel Mujeebur Rehman of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom during the operation.
The martyred officer belonged to Bunji in District Astore of Gilgit Baltistan.
He left behind a widow, three sons and a daughter.
The colonel was leading the operation.
The security personnel also seized a large cache of arms and ammunition from the terrorist hideout.
Two Levies cops injuredÂ

According to the police, the miscreants placed the improvised explosive device (IED) in a motorcycle parked on the roadside.
Soon after the blast, rescue staff rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the hospital.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that sharing of best experiences through series of events will help improve combating skills and integrate armies of participant countries.
