Pakistan Navy launches spring tree plantation campaign today (Monday).
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi inaugurated the campaign.
He planted a sapling at the Naval Headquarters Islamabad.

According to spokesperson for Pakistan Navy, the Navy has set the target of planting 04 million saplings.
They have planned to plant saplings in different parts of the country this year.
While speaking on the occasion, the Naval Chief stressed the need for collective efforts to deal with climate change.
Moreover, he called for dealing with it like national security issue.
He said Pakistan Navy is promoting tree plantation campaign to enhance forest area in the country.
Admiral Abbasi further said the campign aims at mitigating effects of global warming.
