Pak Navy Command and Staff Conference reviews operational readiness and security situation.

Pak Navy Command and Staff Conference reviews operational readiness at Naval Headquarters Islamabad today (Tuesday).
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi presided over the conference.
While addressing the conference, he expressed satisfaction over Pakistan Navy’s operational readiness.
Pak Navy leadership reiterated that Navy is ever ready to deal with any situation.
The conference reviewed the region’s security situation, operational readiness of the Navy and its development plans.
Command and Staff Conference also reiterated support for Kashmiris’ struggle for independence.
During the conference, the Naval Chief was briefed on the ongoing and future plans of the Pakistan Navy.
Pakistan Navy campaign
Earlier, Pakistan Navy had launched spring tree plantation campaign.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi inaugurated the campaign by planting a sapling at the Naval Headquarters Islamabad.
According to spokesperson for Pakistan Navy, the Navy has set the target of planting 04 million saplings.
Notably, they have planned to plant saplings in different parts of the country this year.
While speaking on the occasion, the Naval Chief stressed the need for collective efforts to deal with climate change.
Moreover, he called for dealing with it like national security issue.
He said Pakistan Navy is promoting tree plantation campaign to enhance forest area in the country.
Admiral Abbasi further said the camping aims at mitigating effects of global warming.
