FM vows to bring back Pakistanis waiting to return to the country in various countries of the world.


Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi made this pledge while chairing a meeting regarding dealing with coronavirus pandemic in Islamabad on Wednesday.
FM vows to bring back Pakistanis
He said the government has a priority to bring back such Pakistanis who are waiting to return to the country.

A Crisis Management Cell is already working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
That cell remains in contact with the Pakistani embassies in the entire world.
Moreover, Foreign Minister said we have the exact number of Pakistanis abroad.

He said the entire protocol of test flight has been exercised while
all the 170 passengers of test flight from Thailand were tested and all of them were found negative.

Shah Mahmood further said we have to ensure provision of quarantine and other medical facilities for the coronavirus positive people at airports.

He said flight operations in many countries remain suspended due to lockdown.
On the other hand, provincial government officials had expressed reservations over entry of hundreds of thousands into Pakistan from abroad without quarantine.
First, Sindh government had been demanding of the federal government to stiffen precautionary measures at airports.
Later, Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal said that between 800,000 to 900,000 people arrived in Pakistan from abroad but government don’t know their latest whereabouts.
He said those people had not undergone quarantine.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister had officially reported first two deaths due to Coronavirus in Pakistan.
The patients had come from Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
Turkish narrative
Turkey’s interior minister also had accused Saudi Arabia of not informing Turkey and rest of the world about Coronavirus in Kingdom timely.
Due to that, Turkey faced problems. Now, Turkey has quarantined thousands on return from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia kept the world in dark about coronavirus, said Interior Minister Soylu.
He further said Turkey took action right after confirming 1st case among pilgrims returning from Saudi kingdom
Global trends
The world trends and statistics showed that major countries such as United States, UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, etc, had confirmed Coronavirus patients in January 2020.
Even these countries had more patients and more deaths but the government had not taken the pandemic seriously, according to its critics.
