National Coordination Committee to review steps taken for the control of coronavirus pandemic in the country today.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the NCC meeting in Islamabad.

The meeting will also discuss the strategy to ensure continuity of the industrial and economic activities.
Higher officials will dsicuss future planning as well.
The Committee may decide providing more relief to the people.
Because common man face difficulties and hardships due to lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Meanwhile, Speaker Asad Qaiser will preside over the second meeting of the Special Committee of National Assembly for the Affectees of Coronavirus.
The meeting in Islamabad will review different reports submitted by sub-committee and concerned departments about arrangements to bring back all Pakistanis stranded abroad.
It would review management of quarantine centers at Taftan Border and status of Afghan nationals in the country.
On the other hand, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan called for effective global response to deal with COVID-19 as need of the hour.
In a tweet, she said global organizations like United Nations will have to play a leading role in evolving a strategy while pursuing universal charter of human rights.
She said global organizations need to provide relief and resources in order to protect people of the third world from starvation and poverty.
The Special Assistant said COVID-19 challenge has especially shaken the health and economy of the people of the development countries.
She said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s appeal to the world for debt relief is actually the voice of poor people of the developing nations.
Moreover, she said Coronavirus pandemic can have more serious social and economic impact in developing countries.
