Eidul Fitr on Sunday as Shawwal moon sighted in Pakistan on Saturday.

Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman made this announcement on Saturday night.

Earlier, he presided over Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committeeafter meeting of the committee in Karachi tonight.

Mufti Muneeb told the media persons that the committee received several witnesses from Balochistan and other parts of the country about sighting of the moon.

The Zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees also met in their respective areas.

They also collected evidences in respect of sighting or otherwise of the Moon.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow since Shawwal moon not sighted yesterday.
